New curriculum, budget cuts, it's time to rethink the function of the school library.
As my role will change a little in 2013 without team teaching I need to look at what I can, and can't do.
Perhaps I become more consultative with class teachers on how to set up research assignments in their classrooms, locate and use information rather than do it in the library. I become more of a trainer and collaborator.

What do I do?
Let's start with this:
This defines my role, my background and areas of expertise. This is the measuring stick I need to hold myself against. I need to take the responsibility to make sure I continually check myself against these standards. These also define my job description. don't get distracted from the real role.
